Deborah Treadway Deborah has been active in the Houston/Ft. Bend Real Estate Market since she moved here 30 years ago. She is a Broker-Associate and Top Producer at John Daugherty Realtors. While she currently specializes in the Inner City, West University, Bellaire and Medical Center areas, she is also a leading agent in the Sugar Land, First Colony, Ft. Bend County areas. She understands that selling your home or purchasing a new one is one of the most important decisions you’ll make in life. Clients stay with her because of her personal expertise, analytical knowledge, drive, focus, negotiation, people skills, great attitude and caring ways. She is a perfectionist when it comes to making things happen. She and the rest of our group will demonstrate how valuable it is to have experienced professionals who listen to your specific needs to make sure your transaction is a smooth, successful one. Over 85% of her business is repeat clients or referral. Deborah was raised in southern Illinois. Her father, a physician and surgeon, started the first public hospital in Hamilton County, while her mother ran the Red Cross volunteer group in the area. Today, Deborah follows in her parents footsteps by supporting a variety of charities for causes ranging from Disabled Veterans to Alzheimer’s. After graduating from Southern Illinois University with a degree in Business Administration in 1975, Deborah was recruited into the trust department of Mercantile Bank in St. Louis. It was the first in a long series of banking positions, including a position with Capital Bank that brought her to Houston and ended with Bank of America. “I was the first woman real estate division vice president of a major downtown bank in the early 1980s. I loaned money to builders, developers and mortgage companies,” she says. When Deborah retired from banking in 1986, earning her Real Estate Broker and Mortgage Brokers’ licenses was a natural fit. “Being a trained and experienced business professional gives me an approach and methodology that my clients, who are usually business professionals, appreciate,” she says. “We speak the same language.” Today, Deborah is the face of the Treadway Group with husband Bill. A Top Producer for over two decades, she specializes in the West U, Bellaire, Braes Heights, Med Center, Houston Heights, Woodland Heights, Sugar Land, Ft. Bend/Brazos Acreage, River Oaks, Montrose, Galleria and Tanglewood areas.
Bill is a licensed Real Estate Broker as well and a licensed Mortgage Banker. Bill is constantly seeking ways to apply new directions and technology to the process of buying or selling a home. He feels that it is important to apply technology in order to develop new methods to improve the process instead of using technology to minimize the Realtors involvement with the client and the process. Prior to the Treadway Group, Bill was heavily involved in mortgage industry finance as well as retail and wholesale mortgage origination. Before that Bill spent 10 years as a financial consultant. The 12 years before that, he spent as a commercial banker, with experience in several of the largest and most active Texas Regional Banks. Bill graduated from the University of Texas, at Arlington, in 1977 with an MBA in Finance. Before obtaining his Masters Degree, he was an officer in the Infantry Branch of the U. S. Army. While in Vietnam, he received a Bronze Star, and a Combat Infantryman’s Badge and was recommended for a Silver Star. Deborah and Bill will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary this year. They are blessed with 2 grown children and four grandchildren. Their daughter is kept busy with 4 children and a husband who is a Captain in the US Army Medical Service Corp. Their son is currently a 3rd year Cadet at the US Military Academy at West Point. |
